Golden Hare Books

This independent bookshop is the cutest thing ever. They have their books facing outward, which makes for a really interesting and colorful display.

Lovecrumbs

I made a short stop here for some hot chocolate (with cardamom, goodness) and a generously large slice of carrot cake – not that you’ll ever hear me complain about that.

Circus Lane

If you’ve ever looked Edinburgh up, you may have seen pictures of this street before, with its picturesque curve and the tower of St Stephens Church in the background. It’s a tiny residential street in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh, and fairly close to other nice things to see, such as the Royal  Botanic Garden and Dean Village.

As you can see, I lucked out and found it absolutely deserted, and every bit as charming as in all the pictures.
