Venice from the water
A lot of travel literature suggests that it’s best to see Venice while getting lost in its winding streets, forgetting all sense of time and direction, and otherwise accepting that it’s going to take you three hours to reach a place that is five blocks away. While I agree, I would also argue that it’s equally gratifying to set some time aside to grab a water bus, which will serve the double function of getting you to your destination much more quickly and comfortably, and give you these gorgeous views of Venice from the water, which should not be missed.
