Happy Friday 🌸 World, meet Balto, an Alaskan husky who led an entire team of sled dogs in delivering a transport of diphtheria antitoxin, effectively saving the small town of Nome and surrounding areas during a developing epidemic in 1925 🐕 The prettiest (and most violent) magnolia trees you ever did see 🌸 New post on the blog, link in bio 🌸 Have some flowers 🌷🌸🌺🌼 Considered to be the only formal garden in New York City, the Conservatory Garden takes its name from a conservatory that stood on the site from 1898-1935. New post on the blog, link in bio 🌷 My visit to the Museo del Barrio was extremely brief, as most of it was closed due to exhibition setup. The only section that was open was this exhibition, titled "Ocama Aracoel." It was the last part of what had been a larger exhibition titled "Something Beautiful: Reframing La Colección," which sought to reexamine the museum’s own permanent collections. New post on the blog, link in bio ✨

Hello!

My name is Jessica and I live in Spain. I’m obsessed with dogs (this is important) and have a tendency to take way too many pictures when I travel (which doesn’t happen often enough). I like cold weather, morning light, and empty museums.
